Students from across Croatia

From the classroom to a real working environment

Through the program, students visited unique member hotels and partners, and had the opportunity to meet and speak directly with professionals from different departments. In this way, they gained a better understanding of what everyday work in luxury tourism, hotel management and hospitality looks like, as well as which skills are important for long-term professional development.

  • “Students return from these educational visits inspired, with a more concrete insight into their future profession and additional motivation for further learning and development.”
Orhideja Petković, Principal of the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Trade in Pula
  • “Encounters like these can spark passion and motivation for working in tourism.”
Nina Dumančić, Director of Hotel Materra

Ecole Ducasse masterclass

Several selected students had the opportunity to take part in the prestigious Ecole Ducasse Masterclass in Split, where they learned about the highest standards of contemporary gastronomy alongside international experts. Through practical work, observation and assisting, the students gained a unique insight into the techniques, precision and creativity behind outstanding culinary excellence.

  • “Excellence is built by combining technique, creativity and precision.”
Frédéric Rose, Culinary Arts Chef Instructor at Ecole Ducasse

The program continues this autumn, with new educational activities, guided visits and opportunities for students to connect with professionals from the tourism sector.
